Cross season is getting closer
August 18, 2007This week, starting Tuesday August 21st, we will begin our four week cumulative cross skills clinics. These clinics are designed to build your basic cross skills and give you the confidence you need to get out there on race day and do the best you can. We are going to start with some fundamentals of cross, proper dismount and remount techniques. These basic skills are an essential foundation for future topics to come. We hope to see you out there at Glen Hall Park at 5:45pm for some new knowledge.
Even if you are an expereinced racer this is a great opportunity to come out and shake off the cobwebs that have been building. Those little leg muscles that get used during the remount need some strength building too.

While the cross clinics are informative and friendly, it’s still a good idea to put knew knowledge to the test. So, if you are new, and up to the challenge, come out for the Tuesday cross clinic and then test your new skills on Wednesday nights at the Prairie City Fall Flash Series. The series if 4 weeks long just like the training clinics. The plan is simple. Clinic on Tuesday. Race on Wednesday.
