Taking the helm will be Brian Joder and his staff at bicyclingevents.com. Brian has been involved in bike racing as a racer and a promoter for many years. He has been in charge of Prairie City for years and has the lead role for the off-road events for Cyclebration. He brings a ton of experience and enthusiasm that will take cyclocross racing in the greater Sacramento area to new levels. He shares a lot of the same visions I do in that it will be keeping the focus on grass roots racing and that FUN is the most important thing on race day. He will also be adding some new things like electronic scoring to entice every one’s competitive desires. Brian has indicated that he will be using a lot of the same venues the Sac Cx has used in the past but I am sure there will be new ones coming too. I hope that the series will continue to flourish as it has been doing for the last 3 years by continuing the support that I have seen while I was charge. I have the utmost confidence in Brian in producing great races that everyone has come to expect and fun will be had by all.
